Bijal, aka Bijeweled, is Indo-Canadian digital illustrator, poet, short story writer, and ABA nerd. She enjoys making and selling art inspired by bright colours and her dual cultures. You can catch her working on house, environments, and characters designs in her illustrations and exploring themes of identity, mental health, and elements of science fiction in her writing. Always looking out for collaborative opportunities to celebrate all types of diversity, Bijal published her art and poetry in two chapbooks: The Homophone Project: Rows of Rose and Bread & Ink.
The Homophone Project: Rows of Rose
Thirteen creative individuals create works around homophones. The online chapbook contains poetry, artwork, short stories, music, and experimental pieces. All pieces are original works made by the respective artist. It is free to read with the recommendation to donate to one of three wonderful charities.
